2026 Annual Leadership Conference

The Art of Leadership

Oct. 15 – 18, 2026
Lansing Center, Lansing

Leadership leaves a lasting impression—on students, schools and entire communities.

Join school board members, superintendents and education leaders from across Michigan at the 2026 Annual Leadership Conference as we explore The Art of Leadership.

Strong schools are shaped by leaders who balance vision with governance, collaboration with accountability, and community expectations with student success. Whether you're new to school board service or a seasoned leader, ALC offers opportunities to strengthen your skills, exchange ideas and gain fresh perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing public education.

Like any art form, effective leadership requires continuous learning, thoughtful reflection and the ability to adapt. Through inspiring keynote speakers, interactive sessions, meaningful networking experiences and curated learning tracks, you'll gain practical strategies for governance, advocacy, leadership development and student achievement.
