The Spectrum of School Security: Which Option is Right for Your District?
In the spectrum of school safety, districts have many options for securing their schools. Physical measures, staff and student training and best practices all go into a comprehensive security plan. But how do you know what is right for your district? Security experts from Secure Education Consultants and SET SEG will discuss available options, implementation procedures to be aware of and how to keep your education community informed and involved in safeguarding your schools.

Leadership Lab: Solution Room
Connect with peers as you work together to brainstorm solutions for a challenge you’re experiencing in your district. Thoughtful conversations, practical advice and actionable steps will come out of each small group as participants help one another with their challenges.

MASB’s version of TED Talks, this fast-paced session will keep you on your toes and leave you informed as we tackle legal obligations, roles and responsibilities and working with your superintendent.  

Panel Discussion With Veteran and Newly Seated Board Members
Join a complement of school board members for a discussion about the educational landscape after the election, engaging new members of the governance team and lessons learned in times of transition.

Administrators and educators may receive SCECH certification credits for attendance upon approval. Submit your form to receive credit here.

MASB reserves the right to CANCEL all classes with fewer than 15 participants. Classes may be rescheduled due to weather. Registration and attendance at, or participation in MASB's conferences, CBAs and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to MASB's use and distribution of the attendee's image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such events.
