MASB New Member Site Receives Award of Distinction

DashBoard, May 20, 2015

OnBoard, which launched in January 2015 as an online information portal for new board members, recently received a 2015 Communicator Award of Distinction from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. The site was recognized for visual appeal.

With more than 6,000 entries received from across the U.S. and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence for communications professionals.

OnBoard was developed to provide a quick-and-easy, interactive resource for new members to use in orienting themselves to their new role. MASB worked with Sundin Associates, Inc. to implement the site.

“We’ve been so pleased with how the OnBoard site turned out and how it has been helpful for new members,” said MASB Membership Engagement Manager Angela Kanazeh, CMP.

The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by AIVA, a 600+-member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.

“The work entered in the 21st Annual Communicator Awards serves as a true testament to the innovative ideas and capabilities of communications and marketing professionals around the world. Each year our entrants continue to amaze by reinventing the ways we communicate and market in an ever-changing industry,” noted Linda Day, AIVA Executive Director.
