2021 Annual Leadership ConferenceGuidance on COVID Health and Safety Rules for MASB Attendees

Please visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for recommendations on how to protect yourself against COVID-19. You can also see the current health and safety protocols that the venues have in place. View the Amway’s Meet Safer Document here.

Wear a Mask

To maximize protection, the CDC recommends wearing a mask indoors in public even if you have been vaccinated. MASB endorses this protocol and is requiring all attendees wear a mask to all event functions including on-site registration, social events, food and beverage functions (masks can be removed while eating and drinking), General Sessions, Clinic Sessions and the Exhibit Show.

MASB will have masks available for all attendees.

Social Distance

Greet others with a fist bump or elbow bump.

When possible, stay at least six feet (about two arm lengths) from other people.

Session rooms will be set for appropriate social distancing. Rearranging of seating is prohibited.

Wash Your Hands and/or Use Hand Sanitizer Often

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.

Hand sanitizer stations will be positioned throughout the event area. Please hand sanitize frequently, including as you enter and leave each event function.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

Cover Coughs and Sneezes

Cough or sneeze into your mask, tissue or use the inside of your elbow.

Clean and Disinfect

Clean high-touch surfaces like your table and/or place setting prior to sessions and meals.

MASB will provide sanitizing wipes to all attendees.

Monitor Your Health Daily

Be alert for symptoms. Watch for fever, cough, shortness of breath or other symptoms of illness.

Evaluate your own health before leaving home, on site and following the event; contact the meeting/event organizers if you have concerns.

Event transfers, substitutions and cancellations due to illness are accepted.
