MASB Tool-Specific Superintendent Evaluation Training November 2019

Description: This session is intended for school board members—both veteran and newly elected or appointed—whose districts are using MASB’s Superintendent Evaluation Tool. During this engaging session, participants will delve into how to use the instrument effectively. Areas of focus include describing indicators of superintendent job performance and identifying possible artifacts and evidence, as well as having an opportunity to practice using the MASB Superintendent Evaluation Tool. In addition, participants will be led through the process of the compilation and presentation of the evaluation. This Tool-Specific Training session fulfills state training requirements.

Please Note: It is MASB’s recommendation to retrain the whole team together when three or more members of the governance team (that includes the superintendent) have changed. The in-district training will bring the new members up to speed on the evaluation process itself as well as district-specific practices, and will reacquaint the rest of the governance team with the evaluation system.

Billing Policy: A $25 fee will be added per attendee to any balance due as of the date of the class/event.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be in writing. A $25 cancellation fee will be charged for any and all cancellations. Substitutions are accepted in lieu of a cancellation. No refund one week from event.

MASB reserves the right to CANCEL all classes with fewer than 15 participants. Registration and attendance at, or participation in MASB's conferences, CBAs and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to MASB's use and distribution of the attendee's image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such events.
