MASB introduced the Media Honor Roll in an effort to promote the fact that our public schools are quality places to educate Michigan schoolchildren, and to foster positive relationship-building with local media. The Media Honor Roll is a way to recognize fair and balanced reporting about our schools. Media can be recognized in three categories: print, radio and television. A new campaign, Your Michigan - Live, Learn, Work, Play, was recently launched to emphasize the return on the dollar for taxpayers. The campaign focuses on the services - from roads and recreational programs to education and public safety - local government units provide to families across the state.
